Internet Auction report:
Our idea on the Internet Auction project is to sell an over size Men’s Jean. We think this jean must have an online market because of the following reasons:
• Our selling price is a lot lower than the market price. This jean, if you want to buy in its specialty store, it may cost more than HKD $ 2,000. ( our selling price is initiate at HKD $200, max HKD $500 )
• 2nd, the brand of this jean, BATHING APE, is always be recognized as a trendy icon. The designer of this brand,,Nigo, launches his fashion show in Hong Kong and Tokyo every year. In fact, his show could not been seen as a normal fashion show. It looks like a private party of Nigo and his friends, but all of his friends are celebrities or pop stars, and mass media is invited to come.
• Bathing ape’s products usually are not a “mass production” like Nike and Guess. Every style may only have 1pc for each size. So, the trendy people always need to queue up overnight at the entrance of the store, in order to buy their favorite items. What we have already put into the Ebay website, was the limited edition of 2009 Spring/Summer. So, the Jean is not only attractive to the trendy young people, but also the collector of the BATHING APE.
• Bathing Ape is from Japan, everybody knows that the fashion from Japan has a great problem--- the fit is smaller than those brands from Europe or U.S.A. Thus, those who are in size L or XL may need to stay away from the Japanese Fashion. However, our selling jean is with waist in 37”, length in 47”. It is an ideal measurement for tiny group of people.
• Anyway, this is the 1st idea we come up with for the internet auction project. We still have a lot of back-up plans, such as Neutrogena Facial mask (limited edition) in a relatively cheaper price, cosmetic empty bottles and perfume bottles, etc. Let’s further confirm after getting opinion from Professor William.

What we going to sell in Ebay is a Trendy Denim Jean.
This Jean was a fashion icon of 2009 . Although it is no longer a promoted item, most of the young people still think that it is trendy because of it 's brand---BATHING APE.
