advanced technology really can't help solving problem. The technology makes thing become easy, but it is not guarantee an effective communication. It is because communication is so far mainly depends on people's mind. For example, U.S could have a conference call with China anytime because of technology , but it can't help to stop the trade war between 2 countries....... Technology sometime may make the thing worse.

To Joy/Jerry,
Sims gives people a second life , so that some people are getting crazy on it.
However, if talking about creating a 2nd identity , I think the soical network sites (facebook & Myspace)could make more people to addict to it. A man in U.K even create a 2nd identity to rape & kill girls! Horrible!!!
